Boon PTA Student Assistant Program - How you can help.

Support from Boon Patriot families enables the Boon PTA to accomplish many great things for students.  This year, the PTA plans to add new math and reading
materials to our classrooms.  Support from Boon Patriot families also will  fulfill other special needs through the Boon PTA’s Student Assistance Program.  Due to the economic downturn, we are realizing an exponential increase in the need  for this program,  which helps students when parents are unable to contribute to their child’s costs for extra educational opportunities, such as field trips and class T-shirts.  To help PTA meet the needs of our Student Assistance Program and to continue to provide the many other vital PTA programs at current levels, please consider giving a little bit extra financial support for PTA this year. If you are not able to provide financial support at this time, please consider giving of your time.  There are many non-financial ways to contribute.

SPEAK UP.  Because the PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas, you are encouraged to make suggestions. PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.

WITNESS IMPROVEMENT.  By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTAs play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs and social events – all vital to a school’s success.

BE A ROLE MODEL. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education. 

For less than 2 cents a day, you can become a PTA member, joining nearly 6 million other people who share your interest in issues affecting children. Everyone—parents, educators, students and other citizens active in their schools and communities—are invited to join our non-profit organization.
